These rules are dense, dispersed and constantly updated texts. Artificial intelligence is very helpful in scanning these texts quickly and understanding the structure. But herein lies the most dangerous AI trap in architecture: the regulation hallucination. AI can fabricate a seemingly real but false ratio, item number or draw distance, with consequences ranging from license denial to life safety risk. What's good and bad about AI in legislation

AI is good at two things in legislation: explaining the concept ("What are TAKS and KAKS, how are they calculated") and structuring a text (summarizing a long section of regulation and dividing it into clauses, simplifying the plan note you provide).

What AI is bad and dangerous for is giving the exact value of a particular parcel.
