In this unit, we will learn how to use artificial intelligence to establish the content, flow and visual of the infographic.

When and what type of infographic?

Infographics are not for every data; Ideal for sharing a small amount of powerful information, summarizing a process, or spreading a message. Common types:

Step by step: infographic with artificial intelligence

Showing the number honestly and understandably

The most common distortion in infographics occurs in number visualizations:

  • Area fallacy: When representing a number with a circle, if you double the diameter, the area becomes 4 times larger; The viewer thinks it is 4 times bigger. Give the value in net numbers and on a linear scale, not in area.
  • Large number without context: "1,000,000 people" alone is abstract; "1 in every 5 people" are more likely to be comprehended.

Caution: When using symbol repetition (pictogram), each symbol should represent an equal value; Showing "2.5" with a half symbol is readable, but making the symbols larger or smaller is misleading.

Common mistakes
